8th day

We tried the bin tang hu lu.. is was a strawberry. Yummyyy but was sweet. We went to the food corner n saw lotas stalls selling cute creatures as foods. There are wiggling scorpions, starfish, seahorse, grasshoppers and some other insects.. Damn gross. Des kept pestering tat he wanna try the scorpions but i was strongly against it. Ends up, he ate beef, pork stick, smelly beancurd for RMb 1 bucks each.

I bought some pouch here n had a hard time bargaining for the prices. We wanna went off but they kept pulling my sleeves n didnt wanan let me go off. I was kinda afraid cos they were talking quite loudly and Des held me tightly n firm n insisted on sgd 1 buck per pouch n after much standoff... we managed to get it at tat price. Pheww.. i dun really need to buy it cos they are too persistent n somehw it scares me.

After tat, we headed to Yaxiu market via subway n guess wat.. i bought imitation longchamp bags at sgd 10 bucks as gifts.. It loOks quite real, gd quality too.. haha. My original was $195, kinda dui lo.

We went back to silk street n met Brenda (SMu intern in beijing) for dinner. Dinner was sumptuous n cheap.. haha n later a nice coffee at starbucks.
