During lunch, i saw an advertisement abt CnC Launch Event at Shaw Lido. My 1st gut feel was, buy this for des.

Cos he's tat kind of man, doesnt willing to pamper himself on games and even he do, he need to tink for 1 year whether to buy or not But he can readily buy tings that i like without much pondering.

When i reached Lido, i'm so paiseh cos 99% of the people ther is guyz and when i walked in, everyone started to stare @ me.. what's this gal doing at the boy's game event huh?

In the train back to bugis for my class, lotas guyz already started reading the game manual, so kan cheong. I keep sms des, telling him that i wanna meet him cos i cant wait to pass it to him but too bad, his class didnt end early.

Des reached home abt 1.30am. After heating up his light supper and his fav dessert - yam paste. I showed him the newpaper advertisement and i ask him for his take abt this game.

Des: Its a new game lo.
Rene: You noe they b lauching a new game?
Des: Of course la, me a CnC fan leh.

Rene: U intend to buy?

Des: Nope. Too expensive, mayb wait for the price to drop. Anyway, our current lappy like cant play tis new game.

Oohh.. for a moment, i'm afraid that he scold me that i bought the game w/o asking him cos lappy cant play.

Anyway, i hide the collectors' pack in the cupboard and when he's watching the TV, i took it out n say.. " dar, see tis.

Des was surprised and was smiling away. He said, Y u buy ar? aiyo, cant play leh. Expensive anot? I can wait for the price to drop then buy.

Rene: Ur fav game ma, i want to surprise u. Anyway, wait for u to buy, my hair turn white le. Cant play, juz keep 1st lo. I'm kinda scared u scold me but i guess mayb nt cos now i have earning power, nt like last time, take allowance frm mum. Heehee

Des: This month, u like spend alot already leh.
Rene: At most, this month dun save $$ lo.

We unpack the collector's pack together and des was so engrossed reading the game manual le. I have to pester him to sleep early cos it's getting 'early'

His smiles, his joys warms my heart. I love seeing him in this way. I love the way he looked at his new game, juz like a little boy happily grinning at his new game.
