Googling

Yest mum's eye was puffy and i bet that she cried. I didnt wanna go near her cos i will breakdown too. After i google the terms out, i went to hav a talk with her, to calm her down n explain wat we hav read.. she feels better, at least i sees her smile.

I google the medical terms and for mum's: Is low red blood cell count. Hoping is hereditary and nt the white blood cells eating up the red ones else it b blood cancer. But docs says, another blood test will determine it but most likely is hereditary. So i dig out my medical report too, realised that my red blood cell count is quite low too.. the pref range is 3.8 onwards n mine is 4.8. Opps. Google search says that most doc will diagnose as anemia and will mistreat with iron tablets n we dun need iron tablets at all.

Mum hav slight diabetics.. hav to do a glucose test to confirm it.

For dad's, its more interesting (according to Dr Ho.): there's parasite nesting in dad's liver. The parasite makes it way thru 3 methods - 1st is dad didnt wear shoe n stepped on snail shit. 2nd is dad ate a fish whereby the fish had ate the snail's shit and lastly, dad ate sashimi. Only the 1st n 2nd hav possibility cos dad doesnt had any sashimi at all and frm now, i shall barred des frm eating sashimi too.

Sounds ridiculous rite.. snails shit. Des n me couldnt believe it when we read frm google search and ah yi told me something abt snails over the phone n couldnt really understand her at all.. lucky the search is helpful.

So, Dr Ho said, this is the 1st time he encounter this case and shall consult his doc friends to see wat kind of medication n the doses is suitable for dad. If after the medication, the parasite is still there, then he will hav to see a liver specialist. And luckily, is detected early if nt the parasite will have slowly munch the liver and dad will hav liver cancer. Hopefully, the parasite will be killed if nt i guess it b a tricky prob to solve.

And, dad's heart beat is irregular... he will hav to see a heart speacialist n doc suspect that his heart valve didnt close properly.
