What are we up too? Part 2

Last week was my paper for MA... sucky paper :( and it was also the Red Cross journey camp and on a Sun was Project Rice @ Toa Payoh. (Project Rice aims to collect a cup of rice from each household and after repacking, give out to the needy and elderly)
Both of us collected from 2 blocks frm 25 storeys to 14 storeys. Alot of the donors commented that it was a very gd idea n it is meaningful too. @ the 1st block, we collected a 10kg rice at our 1st start and was so enthusiastic but after tat, we didnt collect much rice at all... so we told ourselves that this 10kg of rice is equivalent to those from the unanswered doors but then again, it was like about 9-11 plus mayb they are still in lala land or in church.

The 2nd round was in the afternOOn.. it was a more rewarding experience as most of the doors are opened and our hands are tired frm carrying the rice :) All in all, SMU Red Cross collected 2230 kgs of rice.

The next activities was a visit to the Red Cross Home for the Disabled. I missed the resident ther, esp the small little boy whom made me cry last yr... i could still rem his smile when we sayang n sing to him. But this little boy made me happy this yr cos this little boy was no longer ther. Yeah, mayb his parents had brought him home.

Hmm.. what else? Oh, we watched Mummy, meet up w our poly friends at alan's hse. His lovely wife Yuan Yuan is 7mths pregnant :) Is a boy. They prepared Mala Steamboat, we brought curry fish head n spring chicks over. After the dinner, all of us were v thirsty frm the soup base. Hahaha

Rem my SAt nite Korean show? The hubby made a very hurting remark. He told his wife tat he is bored with her cos they are together for 10 yrs and plus everyday life is so routine. The wife said, u think u are an exciting husband, giving me surprises everyday? You are just like a book but i dun feel bored with you. -->Bored is a killer word in a r/s, so saddening.

The Hubby is a professor working frm hOme preparing his slides and his wife will prepare 3 meals n snacks for him. When the hubby eventually left home n stay w the mistress, meals are irregular as such he hav gastric. When he walked to the hall n asked mistress for gastric pills, mistress said since u already walked to the hall, then take urself. However, his wife will neber say this to him.

When mistress prepares western food, he dislikes n said he would want rice w kimchi. Mistress retorted that he hav changed his woman so he needs to change his habits. But, how can an 10yr habit be changed so easily?

2 mths ago, we tried our luck with the application of a hdb flat in Marsiling. I was praying hard that we would nt get balloted as i kinda regret paying 10 bucks for the chance as i still feel a 4 rm is small. The ballot result is out and our queue number is 410, number of flats is 323... yeah,,, tat's goes our chance :) Ah yi said that there are too many ppl like me, paying 10 bucks to ballot so end up they wont buy so my chance is still ther if we really want. But, we could still wait so this makes us very choosy when comes to selection of a flat. Amk DBBS is out, as u gota pay so much yet no swimming pool / security guards / no free carpark. A condo is much worth as compared to this highly priced amk flats.

Well next mth would be our 10 yrs anniversary... 10 yrs... Bored isnt found in any corner of our r/s. :) Planning for a romantic dinner @ Lawry's and... hmm... any ideaS?
